Cottage in the Country began way back in 1975 with a handful of cottages on an A4 black and white sheet of paper. That was over 30 years ago and one of the cottage owners is still with us today!

Karen has years of experience having been with the company since 1987 and seen many changes! As the owner of the company, she heads a small and dedicated team who are here to help you to find the right place for you to call home, if only for a short time! Knowing all the properties personally equips us perfectly for the job!

Over the years we have moved from the old fashioned ‘plonky’ typewriter to the lightening speed of computer word processing and email. Broadband has allowed us to further develop our web site so that we can now bring you, wherever you are in the world and at whatever time of day, online availability and booking, fabulous visuals showing accurate colour photos and even virtual tours. The detailed descriptions make sure you get to know your cottage before the holiday begins. Of course, we do still have a full colour brochure as well!

Our in-house management skills allow us to enhance our web site almost daily to give you "last-minute" special offers when available, all the latest news and of course, new property details.
