Local shop, post office and pub in the village. A lovely country walk across the fields to Shipton-under-Wychwood (or through the villages but not quite so relaxing!) where there is a 'local' pub, a 'posh' pub and an historic inn with a great atmosphere. Food available at all.

Trains from Charlbury (5 miles) for easy journeys to Herefordshire/London Paddington line for Oxford, 20 minutes or London/Paddington a little more than an hour..
