Fishing in the Thames just a mile away (permits available from the farm, £2 a day). On the Oxfordshire Cycle Way, Northmoor is a small, pretty village with a stream running through and ducks wandering freely. A local pub is 2 minutes walk, with more choice and a shop in the nearby villages of Standlake and Stanton Harcourt.
