Lambley Cottage

Milton-under-Wychwood, nr Burford - Cotswolds

A lovely 19th century cottage at the end of a no-through lane with pretty cottages and views across the paddocks. Excellent spot in the Cotswolds. Saturday changeovers but alternative dates considered.

Built early in the 19th century Lambley Cottage is a typically idyllic Cotswold stone cottage that was lovingly renovated and now, even more 'tlc' has lifted the cottage to a higher level of comfort and quality.

The characterful sitting room, with comfy furnishings, new carpets and curtains, has beams and exposed stone walls; there is a huge fireplace with a working open fire (logs provided). The refurbished kitchen is very well equipped.

New larger patio doors have been fitted to give you a great view of the south-facing garden which can be a little sun-trap! Beyond the garden are mature paddocks where there are often horses grazing.

Milton-under-Wychwood is a well serviced village with local shops and a pub.  Many footpaths are noted to nearby villages with a particularly nice walk across the fields to Shipton-under-Wychwood and the 'Wild Garden' - very peaceful.  Midway between Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford.
