The high ceiling and gallery in the sitting room creates a feeling of light and space with long reaching views from the cottage through the 'barn doors' that are now huge floor-ceiling French doors. The well equipped kitchen can cater for that special dinner with dining for 10. The Gallery has a private terrace with furniture, within a large, enclosed garden that surrounds the barn. 

Children are very welcome; pets by arrangement please. Ample parking.

This rural barn is known as 'King John's Barn' and is set in an elevated position with outstanding views on the edge of Langley Farm, a former Royal Hunting Lodge. The Barn takes its name from the King John's oak which was said to be a rallying point for huntsmen in the Wychwood Forest and is marked on many of the old maps.  Close to the village of Shipton-under-Wychwood with local shops, pubs and hotel. An excellent base for touring, walking and cycling or just to get away from it all!
