'Duck and 'Drake' (C495) are well insulated so a good spot all year being warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Sited next to the family house, a much-extended shepherd's cottage in a location that can boast being even higher than Chipping Norton which is Oxfordshire highest town. You will have some exceptional views and spectacular sunrises and sunsets to enjoy.
The entire property spreads over 6 acres with 5 acres of newly planted (in 2001) British native trees; a public footpath runs through this area for walks from your own back door to the south or, just across the road, a walk by footpath to Chipping Norton avoiding the main road.

The children can enjoy the owners' chickens and ducks (must be by arrangement as protected by electric fences because of the foxes); organic free range eggs available to buy. All types of wildlife from pheasants and partidges to visiting deer.

Both Duck and Drake can accommodate 4 people with room for 2 extras in either on a sofa bed. In Drake you can seat 6 for dinner, 8 at a squeeze so will work well if both units booked for a group gathering.(10% discount is both booked together).

Outside you have the 'playground' which is hard standing and enclosed so great for the kids to play ball or pedal around the cherry tree.
