'Barnforge' sits at the edge of the village within walking distance of two real ale pubs, a local butcher, post office, shop and French bakery.
Once the workplace of the local blacksmith, this lovely detached cottage is now a comfortable, contemporary holiday home that has been furnished to a high standard. The south-facing courtyard (with furniture) can be a little sun-trap so ideal for that evening glass or two, or even for breakfast; a great way to relax at any time of day. Cosy all year with a multi-fuel wood burner (starter supply provided) - a warm welcome awaits after a busy day touring!
Brailes is a characterful village with some fabulous walks on the doorstep (pets welcome by arrangement).
Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon are both 12 miles for shopping and sightseeing. The ancient market town of Shipston-on-Stour is 3 miles away for antique shops, local pubs and eateries. A short drive to the Cotswolds; Warwick 20 miles, Oxford 30 miles and easy access to the M40 for London or Birmingham.
A central location for a great holiday! NON SMOKERS ONLY PLEASE
Ground floor: Spacious entrance hall, open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen, double/twin bedroom (can push the beds together easily) with en-suite shower room.
