Keen's Cottage is a charming 18th century Cotswold stone cottage in the unspoilt village of Kingham - named England's Favourite Village in 2007.
The cottage has been fully refurbished and renovated to a very high standard. The modern kitchen, which is amply equipped for comfortable living, leads through to a spacious conservatory/dining room - perfect for all year round entertaining. The sitting room has great character with a superb inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove and exposed beams.
The enclosed courtyard garden (with furniture) is private and sheltered and can be a little sun-trap at times!
Kingham with a gastro pub, a bistro and local shop is on the mainline for London, Oxford and Worcester making it ideally situated for touring. Very central base in the Cotswolds with Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, Oxford or Cheltenham a leisurely drive away. Local restaurants and pubs in the market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton are just a few miles away.
Keen's Cottage is a fabulous blend of a classic Cotswold cottage and the contemporary style of today.
Ground floor Sitting room, conservatory/dining room, kitchen. First floor Double bedroom with ensuite shower room, twin/double bedroom, bathroom (sh).
