A recent renovation of old farm buildings creating two lovely cottages in classic, rural English countryside. Baggins' Barn has stacks of character! In this cottage an interesting feature is the large, original fireplace that has been incorporated into the cottage design and current life-style; the huge chimney breast remains as well as the old boiling oven . French doors lead out to a private terrace and to the huge garden - ideal for the kids and dogs (please note, there are friendly resident dogs) to have a great time! There is a private terrace/patio for each cottage; the garden is for everyone to enjoy although it is not entirely separated from the cottage next door, the whole garden area is enclosed from the farm. Garden furniture and bbq provided. Guests are welcome to wander through the grounds - please note, there is a pond near to the main house of which parents should be aware. In the grounds of 'The Priory' which originates from the 12th Century and is in the centre of the historic-cultural triangle of Plenty to see and do; Ground floor : Open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. Rates are for 2 people; surcharge for more than 2.

Heating and electricity are included - radiators and under floor heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. Dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, TV with freeview, DVD, cd/hifi systems; washing machine available. Rates are for 2 people, £40 pw surcharge for more than 2. Pets by arrangment, £15 pw each. Garden furniture and bbq (gas). Rural location. Lovely walks. Fishing and stabling. Trains from Banbury, 6 miles. Nearest pub, 3 miles. No smoking, please. |
