Lower End Barn is situated away from the main road on a quiet, no-through lane.

This lovely, quirky cottage  has  a 'welcome home' feel as soon as you arrive! Comforts of today combine with the beams and character in the nooks and crannies which have been utilised to use every part of the cottage to its full potential, from the off-centre downstairs bedroom to the bright, beamed upstairs double that opens up from the narrow hallway.  We think it all adds to the charm!

A cosy cottage for winter get-aways or a cool summer cottage with French doors from both the kitchen and sitting room. These lead out to the pretty cottage garden that has a patio (with furniture), bbq and a small summer house. There is parking for two cars to the side of the cottage.

Charlbury is a popular Cotswold town with a good choice of pubs, many serving food, a takeaway for those lazy nights and local shops.  There is excellent public transport from Charlbury. The train station is only a few minutes drive or about a 20 minute walk for a frequent fast train service to London/Paddington, 90 minutes or so and Oxford just 15 minutes.

This North Oxfordshire town is a great place from which to visit the many pretty towns and villages in the Cotswolds; Burford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden etc, etc, etc!
