King John's Barn is set in an elevated position with outstanding views on the edge of Langley Farm, a former Royal Hunting Lodge. The Barn takes its name from the King John's oak which was said to be a rallying point for huntsmen in the Wychwood Forest and is marked on many of the old maps. This converted barn now provides two comfortable, well finished holiday cottages each with a private terrace within the large, enclosed garden. Dining for 10 in either cottage makes the whole barn perfect for two families. Ample parking. Children very welcome. Close to the village of Shipton-under-Wychwood with local shops, pubs and hotel. An excellent base for touring, walking and cycling or just to get away from it all!
