Arrival and Departure
This is usually a Saturday although many of our properties are flexible. Most properties are available from 4pm. You will receive full details and directions on receipt of your final payment. It is important that you confirm your arrival time and key details with the owner/key holder a few days before your holiday – please do not leave this until the last moment! You should not arrive earlier than arranged to ensure the property is ready for you.

Cleaning
The property owner will ensure the property is cleaned between lets. We ask that you leave the property as found at the end of your stay. An additional charge for cleaning may be made if the property is not left clean and tidy.

Damage Deposits
Some property owners will charge a returnable damage deposit which should be paid direct to the owner. We will endeavour to advise you of this in advance.

Extra Sleeping
Some properties have extra beds or sofa beds, some at an extra charge. In no circumstances should the number of occupants exceed the number stated in the property details (please see Booking Conditions).

Linen
Bed linen and towels are available at all of our properties. If ‘for hire’ you should order at the time of booking or at least one week in advance.

Pets
Pets are welcome in properties where specified in the property details; charges are as stated.

Pets are only accepted under the strict house rules at each pet property which are generally:
  • Not to be left alone in the property
  • that they are kept under control at all times
  • that you bring bedding, towels and food bowls for your pets
  • that they are not permitted in bedrooms or on furniture
  • all pets are up to date with flea and worming treatments
  • that you accept total responsibility for your pet and its actions (e.g. cleaning up mess etc). Failure to comply will lead to your liability for dealing with ensuing problems and costs.
If you are concerned with any of the ‘house rules’ please do contact us and we will speak to the property owner to clarify.

Some of our cottages are going green...
The Green Tourism Business Scheme is the leading environmental accreditation system of tourism related businesses in Europe. There are currently over 1300 members in the UK who have made a commitment towards reducing the impact of their business on the environment. Members are committed to best environmental practice and undergo independent assessment of their activities.

We have tried to accurately detail the cottage facilities in our ‘At a Glance’ section. All properties have general, basic facilities such as a fridge, cooking equipment etc. but they also have many extras which we have detailed.Where we state ‘washer/dryer’ this will either be one of each or a combination.‘Bathroom(sh)’ indicates a bathroom with bath and shower over.

Something missing at your chosen cottage? Just ask and we will see what we can do! Many of our properties are available on a flexible arrangement so far as arrival days particularly out of season so whatever your plans, please ask and we will try to accommodate you.
