This ground-floor apartment is located in the popular Shropshire town of Craven Arms, home to Stokesay Castle, a wonderful Medieval manor house, and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.

This apartment is located in the town of Craven Arms, once an important trading post, thanks to its location on the Welsh/English border, the town now boasts a handy supermarket, as well as numerous take away restaurants. The town is also home to Stokesay Castle, maintained by English Heritage, it is said to be the finest example of a fortified Medieval manor house in Britain. Other places of note in the area, which always prove to be popular with visitors include the towns of Ludlow and Leominster, and the picturesque Elan Valley.

Opening the front door to this ground-floor apartment, guests will find the hall a useful place to leave coats, and boots, etc, before making their way into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a homely space with a cosy sofa and chairs from which to relax and enjoy the TV and DVD. The dining table in the middle of the room comfortably seats four, beyond which the kitchen area offers an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. (Use of the owner’s washing machine is available on request if needed). The property’s two bedrooms are accessed off the main living space, the first of which is a double room which benefits from patio doors allowing guests direct access to the garden. The second bedroom is a pleasant and relaxing twin room. The property’s bathroom has a bath and WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property, partially set to lawn, with a patioed seating area with a garden table and chairs. Additionally, a BBQ and chimenea can be provided on request. There is off-road parking available.

High praise indeed for the owners' wonderful accommodation. Our little family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Callow View. It is close to amenities, and yet is set back from the village. The let itself is really well equipped, they really have thought of everything. I would highly recommend this let as a couple or with small children, it really is aRead more lovely place, with plenty to do nearby. Thank you so much for having us Hide

The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and approachable. Perfect position for us and we may be booking again as we have more race weekends this year that we need accommodation for.
