Stylish and contemporary three-storey townhouse, finished to a very high standard, located in the ever-popular town of Hay-on-Wye, within walking distance of all of the town’s amenities.

This property is located within walking distance of Hay-on-Wye’s town centre. Of course, Hay is most famed for its annual literature festival which attracts some of the world’s biggest names in literature, journalism, and politics, amongst other, but the town is lively and bustling all year round. Bibliophiles will love the town’s numerous bookshops, whilst there is also a great food scene, with a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs, as well as an interesting collection of independent shops and craft workshops. In fact, right opposite the property is a wonderful arts venue with a coffee shop, weekly programme of activities, theatre, and gallery.

This five-star property makes a wonderful place to enjoy an extra special break. The care and attention that the owners have put into the property is evident as soon as guests walk in. On the ground floor, there is plenty of storage space for coats and luggage, before moving onto the wonderfully spacious kitchen/diner. Guests will find everything they need here to make themselves at home, whether they plan on cooking for themselves, or making use of the town’s many places to eat. There is an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and a dishwasher, as well as a dining table for enjoying family meals. Double doors from the kitchen lead out onto the terrace. On the first floor, guests will find the welcoming lounge, a gorgeous light-filled space, thanks to the large bi-fold doors which open onto the balcony. The lounge itself has comfortable seating from which to enjoy the sunsets over the river, as well as relax in front of the TV/DVD, or listen to music through the iPod dock. The master bedroom is also located on this floor, a restful sanctuary-like space with a Juliet balcony, king-size bed, an en-suite shower room with WC, and carefully chosen artworks by local artists. On the second floor, guests will find the two further bedrooms: a peaceful single room, which benefits from a small study area; and a super-king-size room which can be made up as a twin on request. These two rooms share a bathroom which has a bath, shower, and WC.

Outside, there is a patioed terrace which is accessed through the kitchen, where there is garden furniture, making it a delightful space for enjoying alfresco meals and drinks, whilst admiring the river views. In addition to this, the lounge on the first floor of the property extends out, via bi-fold doors, onto a 17’ balcony, providing guests with a particularly enjoyable space to sit out on summers’ evenings. There is parking for two cars provided in the property’s private car port.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
