Lodge-style property enjoying a fantastic farmland location close to the Welsh Marshes, just six miles from Offa’s Dyke and the town of Knighton.

This property is situated in the picturesque area where Wales and England meet. This is a fantastically secluded location surrounded by rolling countryside, with just the owner’s home and one other holiday let within the grounds, but both a good distance from the property. The nearest village is one and a half miles away where visitors will find the welcoming village pub, whilst a range of shops can be found six miles away in the town of Knighton. The town is also home to a fascinating interactive exhibition about the history of Offa’s Dyke, an apt addition to the town as it is the only town through which the dyke passes.

Several steps lead up to the veranda of this property, where you can step through the front door which opens directly into spacious lounge/diner. This welcoming space has two deep sofas and a TV/DVD, with the dining table at the far-side of the room; it is a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy the break from the stresses of modern life. Just next to this room is the contemporary-styled kitchen, which is well-equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Just beyond the kitchen is a convenient ground-floor shower room with WC. Taking the stairs (stairgates are provided) to the first floor, guests will find the two restful bedrooms, both of which enjoy views across the farm. The first of these is a double room which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC, whist the second room is a pleasant twin room.

Outside, there is wide decked veranda to the front of the property with a table and chairs, making this a wonderfully relaxing place to sit and enjoy dining al fresco in the summer months. Steps lead down from the veranda to the spacious enclosed garden, which is a great place for children to play and burn off some energy. To the right of the veranda is the hot tub, a special addition to the property, where guests can soak away their cares and enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm. The hot tub is free of charge, but guests who wish to use it need to request this on booking, so that it can be cleaned and filled ready for them. (Please note the hot tub cannot be used after 4pm on the day prior to departure). There is a lake which can be used for fly-fishing (charges apply), and there is also a shared games room with table tennis, table football, snooker, and an exercise machine (please request use of this room at booking). There is off-road parking provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
