Two-storey property for two people, an ideal couple’s getaway surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside of the Shropshire Hills, close to the Welsh border.

This property’s idyllic location in the southern Shropshire Hills makes it an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts and keen walkers alike. The Welsh border is close by, with the Brecon Beacons National Park being within easy driving distance. Offa’s Dyke is also within easy reach, offering miles of scenic walks close to the border. Other places of interest in the area include the towns of Leominster, Ludlow, and Shrewsbury, as well as Hopton Castle, and the attractive manor house at Stokesay Castle.

This property provides unusually spacious accommodation for two guests and is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, the heart of the property is the open-plan lounge/diner, a homely space with comfortable seating, an open fire, a TV, and DVD, as well as a dining table seating four. Beyond this room is the kitchen, which has granite worktops, an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a shower room with WC on the ground floor, whilst upstairs there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom comprising of a bath, hand-held shower, and WC. Please note that due to the style of the property there are sloping ceilings and some reduced head-height in the bedroom and bathroom.

Outside, the property has spacious shared gardens which are mainly set to lawn, with garden furniture provided to allow guests to enjoy al fresco drinks or meals. Guests also have use of a ten-acre paddock with a river running through it. A BBQ can be provided on request and there is off-road parking provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
