Single-storey property enjoying a quiet rural location on the owner’s farm close to the Welsh/English border, just six miles from Offa’s Dyke and the town of Knighton.

This property is nestled in the rolling hills of countryside right on the Welsh/English border. The rural location has a lovely secluded feel to it, though there are two other properties onsite (the owner’s home and one other holiday let). The nearest village, with its welcoming pub is 1.5 miles away, beyond which the town of Knighton can be found six miles from the property. Knighton is the only town through which Offa’s Dyke passes, and there is an interesting interactive exhibition in the town, which offers visitors a fascinating insight into the history of the dyke, as well as a range of shops and eateries.

Guests enter this lodge-style property via a ramp which leads to directly to the property’s kitchen/diner. This room is finished in a contemporary style and offers a dining table seating four, an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Beyond the kitchen/diner lies the comfortable lounge, which enjoys wonderful views across the surrounding farmland, and has doors which open out onto the decked veranda. The sofa and chairs here offer a pleasant place in which to relax and enjoy the TV/DVD, or perhaps sit back with a glass of wine and plan the following day’s activities. The first of the two bedrooms is located off the lounge, a comfortable room with king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom offering a bath and WC. The second bedroom is accessed through the kitchen/diner and can be made up as either a second room with king-size bed or a twin, thanks to the zip-and-link beds. This is also an en-suite room, this time with a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a lovely sun trap of a decked veranda to the front of the property, where there is garden furniture from which guests may like to enjoy alfresco drinks whilst taking in the tranquil surroundings. Adjacent to this decked area is the hot tub, a wonderfully relaxing treat for guests which, although free of charge should be requested on booking so that it can be cleaned and filled (Please note the hot tub cannot be used after 4pm on the day prior to departure). Guests are free to explore the farm, where there is plenty of space to walk and have fun. There is a lake which provides opportunities for fly-fishing (charges apply), and a shared games room with table tennis, table football, snooker, and an exercise machine (please request use of this at booking). There is off-road parking provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
