Pretty cottage situated in tranquil surroundings in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, just a few miles from the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty, and close to the Welsh border.

This cottage enjoys a fantastic rural location on the edge of the Shropshire Hills, making it ideal for those who want a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The Stiperstones Ridge is just a few miles from the property, and offers a fascinating, as well as breath-taking, three-mile round walk around the 500-million-year-old quartzite ridge. The village of Minsterley, a five-minute drive from the property has a convenient village shop, as well as a choice of pubs, which make a welcoming place to enjoy a pint or two, or maybe a hearty pub lunch. Further afield, yet all within a thirty-minute drive of the property, there is a range of interesting places to visit, including the towns of Telford and Shrewsbury.

As visitors approach this property, they will see that there are two front doors, one of which leads to the main house, whilst the second one gives access to the separate en-suite bedroom, which can be booked along with the main house for larger parties with five or six guests. On entering the main house, guests first come to an attractive king-size bedroom which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath, and WC. The second bedroom is just across the hall: a pleasant and restful double room. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will find the shower room, with its walk-in shower and WC, before continuing on to the relaxing lounge where the comfortable seating allows guests to sit back and enjoy the TV/DVD. On the opposite side of the stairs, the kitchen/diner is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Going back outside, the third bedroom (which is bookable in addition to the main house at an extra charge), is accessed from the second front door to the left-hand side of the building, and is a king-size room with its own en-suite bathroom with WC and shower.

Outside, there is an attractive shared garden with lovely country views, as well as a small private seating area with table and chairs, ideal for sitting out with drinks and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had a really lovely week at Pheasant Cottage. The Cottage was very clean, beautifully done and had absolutely everything you could need. The owners were very kind and helpful and there were homemade biscuits and milk when we arrived.....................

We had a lovely holiday inPheasant Cottageand told the owners upon our departure. Quietly situated in a peaceful village. Bathrooms were super. Plenty of hot water and a central heating system that worked! Not that we needed on very much the cottage was superbly insulated. Lovely views and great walks. Tastefully decorated. Would recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pheasant Cottage. It was clean, warm and cosy. Sally and Neil, our hosts, provided home made mince pies and pickled walnuts when we arrived, and also holly and ivy with which to deck the hall! The cottage was very quiet and peaceful, and was a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside. We visited IronbridgRead moree, the Stiperstones, the Long Mynd and Shrewsbury. Pheasant Cottage is lovely. Beautifully presented with all amenities. Spotlessly clean. Sally & Neil are very friendly & helpful. The village is very quiet & peaceful & the cottage has wonderful views of the countryside. We had a very relaxing break & would recommend te cottage to anyone seeking the same.

Thanks - we had a lovely few days at Pheasant Cottage........ The accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully presented and the surrounding area was very attractive. The local information provided by Neil and Sally was helpful and informative and we found the whole stay very relaxing. We'd certainly recommend it!
