One-of-ten charming properties dating back to the 14th century, set within attractive shared gardens and situated in the picturesque Wye Valley on the outskirts of the village of Goodrich.

This property benefits from an idyllic location in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooked by the English Heritage property of Goodrich Castle, notable for its connections to the Civil War and boasting a fascinating collection of Civil War artefacts. Just a short distance away, Symonds Yat Rock is a lovely place to enjoy a scenic walk, as it offers stunning views across the Wye Valley. Symonds Yat West Leisure Park, is also within easy reach, and offers an altogether very different day out, with its river boats, go-karts, amusement arcades, and adventure playgrounds.

A flight of external stairs brings guests to the front door of this property, which opens into the welcoming hallway, beyond which they will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its exposed stone walls and warming wood burner. There is comfortable seating from which to enjoy the TV and DVD, whilst over in one corner, the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Guests who need to do some washing can do so in the shared laundry room where they will find the washing machine and tumble dryer. A staircase off the lounge area leads to the upper floor, where guests will find the two bedrooms. The first of these is a restful double room with an ornate wooden bed, vaulted ceilings, and a feature window. The second bedroom is an inviting twin room, whilst the bathroom with its shower-over-bath and WC is also located on this floor.

Outside, guests have shared access to the spacious gardens laid-to-lawn, where they will find a selection of garden furniture, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a picnic. Off-road parking is provided for three cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
