This property lies on the edge of the village of Goodrich, just a short walk from the village’s imposing medieval castle, which is maintained by English Heritage and overlooks the property. This property is ideal for those who enjoy country walks and spending time in nature, as there are simply miles of countryside to be enjoyed in the immediate area surrounding the property. The River Wye is just a five-minute walk away, where visitors may like to try their luck at fishing or perhaps just enjoy a relaxing waterside walk.

This property offers the rare opportunity to stay in a lovingly maintained 14th century building, where the original features create a fantastic focal point in the rooms. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first-floor of the property has a wonderful wide arched window running along one side of it, affording spectacular views across the spacious shared gardens and beyond. There is comfortable seating here, arranged so that guests can enjoy those views, as well as the cosy wood burner, the TV and DVD. The dining area, meanwhile, has an impressively large table which can comfortably seat twelve guests, making it a setting to enjoy special meals and celebrations.
