Little Compton is a lovely village with its own manor house and church. Nestling in the Warwickshire countryside at the northern end of the Cotswolds it forms a long narrow strip from the Four Shire Stone on the road from Moreton in Marsh to Chipping Norton, the village of Little Compton is hilly in parts peaking to 650ft with fabulous views.
In the village is The Red Lion Pub with plenty more pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops to visit in nearby Moreton in Marsh or Chipping Norton. Hop on a train at Moreton in Marsh for the London/Paddington line or take a bus to Banbury, Birmingham or Stratford-upon-Avon from Chipping Norton. Attractions close by are Chastleton House, Batsford Arboretum, or Cotswolds Falconry Centre. Also travel to Oxford to follow in the footsteps of our greatest scholars and wander the town fields and shops. The Cotswolds is one of the nation's favourite regions for views and walks, some come and enjoy an escape to the country. Little Compton is archetypal of the rural settlements that pepper the area.
