Mollington is a small village just four miles north of Banbury. The local church, All Saints is interesting as it dates back to the 14th century but could be a replacement building as the font is 13th century. The tower was added in the 16th century. Being close to Banbury, it is convenient for a spot of retail therapy at Castle Quay, relaxing by the Oxford Canal or simply enjoying the wide variety of local pubs and restaurants in the area. You are well-placed for the Cotswolds and its fantastic scenery and diversity of walks and trails. Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross and see the places of interest in and around this lovely Oxfordshire town. Oxford is a great city for a day out, there's much to see and do. If museums and historical places are what interests you, Oxford is the best place in the region.
