First-floor apartment located on the owner’s smallholding in the beautiful Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the breath-taking Stiperstones Ridge a thirty-minute walk away.

This property is located on the owner’s smallholding, alongside one other holiday cottage. The area immediately surrounding the property offers many miles of scenic country walks, including the thirty-minute walk up to Stiperstones ridge, a 480-million-year old quartzite ridge affording breath-taking views across the valley below. Further afield, the town of Ludlow is approximately twenty-five miles away and is rightfully popular with foodies, not only due to its annual food festival, but also its range of highly-regarded restaurants and bistros which offer the best in local produce. Another popular destination for visitors to the area is the historic town of Shrewsbury, where there are over 600 listed buildings, and amongst them is the famed Abbey and the town’s castle.

A steep flight of stairs leading from the front door of this property takes guests to the first-floor accommodation. The first room you will come to is the kitchen/diner with its dining table, electric oven and hob, fridge, and microwave. There is also a handy separate utility room, which is shared with the sister property and contains a freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The second room in the apartment is a generously sized lounge/bedroom, which offers breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside from the comfortable seating, as well as providing relaxing entertainment in the form of a TV and DVD. The bed is a king-size which can be made up as twin beds on request if desired. The shower room is located at the top of the stairs and offers a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a private patioed seating area with garden furniture, making it ideal for enjoying al fresco drinks as the sun goes down. There is off-road parking provided for two cars.
