Further afield, the town of Ludlow is approximately twenty-five miles away and is rightfully popular with foodies, not only due to its annual food festival, but also its range of highly-regarded restaurants and bistros which offer the best in local produce. Another popular destination for visitors to the area is the historic town of Shrewsbury, where there are over 600 listed buildings, and amongst them is the famed Abbey and the town’s castle.
