This property is located just a short walk from the centre of Hay-on-Wye. Famed worldwide for its annual literature festival, the town is a popular destination for book-lovers all year round thanks to the fact that it is home to over twenty bookshops. But there is a more to the town than books, and visitors may be pleasantly surprised to find that there is also a good range of cafes and restaurants, as well as independent shops. Guests to the property may also find themselves paying several visits to the fantastic arts venue, which is just opposite the property, and offers a full and diverse programme of activities, a gallery, theatre, and a coffee shop.

This five-star property is a fantastic place to enjoy a break in the wonderful town of Hay-on-Wye, and the owners have ensured that there is a fantastic standard of accommodation offered throughout. On the ground floor, guests can hang their coats in the hallway before continuing on to the kitchen/diner with its table seating six, gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. There are also doors in the kitchen that open out onto the decked terrace, making it easy take drinks or food outside. Continuing up to the first floor, the stylish, light-filled lounge is a wonderfully relaxing space with comfortable seating, huge bi-fold doors which lead out to the large balcony, a TV, DVD, and iPod dock. This room looks over the river and enjoys stunning sunsets, making it a particularly lovely space in the evenings. The main bedroom is also situated on the first-floor and has been thoughtfully styled with art by local artists. There is a king-size bed, a Juliet balcony, and an en-suite shower room with a WC. Two further bedrooms are located on the second floor; the first of these is a restful single room, whilst the final bedroom is a super-king-size room which can be made up as a twin on request. The bathroom on this floor has a shower, bath, and WC.

Outside, on the ground floor of the property is the secluded terrace which sits behind a canopy of trees beyond which is the river. This relaxing space is a great place for enjoying al fresco drinks and meals. Meanwhile, on the first floor, is a spacious 17-foot balcony, which enjoys river views and acts as a wonderful outdoor extension to the lounge.
