Attractive detached property located in a very quiet, secluded part of the Herefordshire countryside, ten minutes away from the nearest village of Weobley.

This property enjoys a fantastically secluded location in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, surrounded by lush rolling hills and verdant fields. Weobley is the nearest village; a pretty settlement with a number of black and white Tudor houses, it is part of the area’s Black and White Trail – a self-guided forty-mile route around some of the region’s prettiest towns and villages. For a change of scenery, the town of Hereford with its historic cathedral is only a 20-minute drive away, whilst other places of interest in the area include Symonds Yat, Hay-on-Wye, Offa’s Dyke, and Chepstow.

Upon entering this rural property, guests will find a handy boot/utility room, through which is a shower room. Beyond this, the homely lounge is a welcoming space with a warm and cosy atmosphere, a wood burner in the stone fireplace, a TV and DVD, and two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa bed and can be used to accommodate two extra guests at a cost of £15 per week. The property’s dual-aspect kitchen/diner is located next to the lounge and offers a dining table, Range oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, one of which can be made up as a twin on request. The bathroom, also on the first-floor, has a bath with handheld shower and WC.

Outside, the property benefits from a wonderfully spacious south-facing garden, which is mainly set to lawn, with a seating area offering two benches and a table and chairs, ideal for sitting outside and enjoying the tranquil surroundings and the views over the neighbouring fields. There is off-road parking for two to three cars provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We loved our Easter Break stay at The Lanes. The Cottage was clean, comfortable and warm. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to add those extra little touches and left lots of information on things to do in the area. I would recommend it with no hesitation

The booking process was very efficient. I was able to speak to a gentleman who personally knew the property and was able to answer some questions I had. I received immediate confirmation of the booking and information about the house along with directions from the owner. Initially I was unsure about booking a 60s property but I need not have worriRead moreed as it is well built and has a cottagey feel about it inside. It is in a very peaceful lane on the edge of the village, the only sounds we heard were the owls of an evening. delightful to hear. We have just returned from 11 wonderful nights at The Lawn House. Although not luxurious it is a very spacious and comfortable house. It was clean and well prepared for our arrival and very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the open fire which provided a very cosy place to gather round of an evening.. Although we didnt use the Aga it provided a background warmth. The garden is large, well kept and lovely to look onto from the lounge. The village of Eardisland is delightful, a very short walk to the local pub where we were made very welcome. We were served good meals by very friendly staff. One evening we didnt realise that meals were not being served but the owner came to our rescue and ordered us meals from a Chinese takeaway in Leominster, set the table with cutlery and plates and proceeded to serve the meals, Amazingly helpful to go so out of his way. Ritas tearooms have very friendly staff and serve an excellent cooked breakfast. This a beautiful part of the country with lots of delightful towns and villages to visit, also NT properties, castles and gardens not too far away. All in all we had a really great stay at the Lawn house, we hope to return if visiting this area in the future and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet country holiday. Hide

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our stay at The Lanes. The cottage was charming and everything was lovely and clean (no need to wash cutlery and plates before use as sometimes happens!). The location was perfect for days out to local gardens, Ludlow, Hay on Wye...and we enjoyed our meals at the local and friendly Read morecommunity pub in Dilwyn. Also good for an evening stroll. And wonderfully peaceful. Thank you also for the amazingly swift replies from the office regarding key collection. And a further thank you for offering flexible stays when sometimes a whole week is not possible. Brilliant all round! Thank you so much. You are now on my favourites list and we look forward to booking with you again. Hide
