Goosey is a small village in the south of Oxfordshire close to the Vale of the White Horse and the Berkshire border. The countryside is beautiful and open in this area - it's Britain's big sky country as you're also skirting the northern end of Salisbury Plains here. Explore the scholarly cloisters and alleyways of academic Oxford, or get into locomotives at Didcot Railway Centre. A walk along the River Thames at Goring and Streatley or Pangbourne is a must do on a visit to the area. It enjoys a good location midway between Wantage and Faringdon and it's well placed for visits to Oxford, Bath, London and Windsor.
