Milton-under-Wychwood is a lovely Oxfordshire village in the Cotswolds. The village is one of three named after the Wychwood Forest, the others being Shipton-under-Wychwood and Ascott-under-Wychwood. Milton has many period properties particularly along the high street; they come in all shapes and sizes spanning the different centuries. There are many lovely walks from the village, one across the fields to Shipton walking through Diggers Wood, planted for the Millennium and through The Wild Garden which is owned and managed by the villagers. Nearby pubs and shops are available in Shipton. It has a great music festival once a year which is drawing a larger following every year. Visit Oxford, the academic seat for our brightest and best and it is a joy to walk around and discover the museums. Chipping Norton is a close by for farmers, markets and shops.
